Traditions Behind the Concept
The concept of the house was born from an exploration of the heritage of Őriszentpéter. The design of the house’s spaces reflects the traditional “szer“s (small settlements) of the region. The number of spaces corresponds to the number of these former settlements, and the hierarchy of the spaces mirrors the social connections of the “szer”s of the area. Additionally, the house has elements of local folk art, such as the plant motifs above the terrace, which are believed to bring good luck to the owners of the house.

A Peaceful Home
This house, entirely made from CLT (Cross-Laminated Timber), blends modern design with sustainability. From the initial idea to the final, turnkey result, our dedicated team manages the entire process, ensuring every detail is executed flawlessly. The house spans 77 m², with an additional 29 m² covered terrace, providing a perfect balance between indoor comfort and outdoor tranquility. Designed as a full family home, this space is intended for two people who wish to retreat from the noise of city life in their later years. It offers a calm and peaceful environment, allowing them to enjoy their golden years in harmony with nature.

Interior
The interior design brings a unique and handcrafted feel to every space. The house’s interior is not only warm and inviting but also exudes an artisan atmosphere that perfectly complements the natural materials used throughout the home.

Sense of calmness
The design of the entire house, from the fireplace to the carefully selected materials, reflects a strong emphasis on creating a cozy environment. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered to promote a sense of calm, allowing the residents to embrace a slower pace of life, away from the demands of the outside world.
